#Mods for the sims 3 to make it stop crashing mod
Additionally, you can always rename this "The Sims 2 (UC)" folder to something like "The Sims 2-backup" and the game will generate a new game folder for you, which is useful if you want to test a new global mod or to play with certain CC (Eg. Right-click on your desktop, select the CP, choose Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings, and choose Sims 3: ts3.exe for an Origin install, ts3w.exe (with the w) for a disc or Steam install. Then you just move the backup back in when reinstalling (do not overwrite/replace the new folder, delete it and move the backup in). The MC Progression module is meant to be a bridge between the MC base mod and the SP base mod it requires both mods to be present (and it wouldnt have anything to do if SP werent there anyway). Sims 4 is a popular virtual world game to unleash your imagination but a good number of gamers reported the Sims 4 stuck on loading screen problem and won’t proceed further, no matter how long they wait. For some reason it crashes if Im in CAS for 2-3 hours, but I dont have a problem anywhere else.
I save the ones I usually make multiple times, and its much easier making a family when theres saves available. Then you can just go delete the earlier versions. Your save files are stored under Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 (UC) and all you need to do is copy this folder somewhere else to make a backup of it. This will indeed crash the game on startup every time. I recommend saving your sims to the bin (theres an option near their picture) when you make them. As BO said, we need your config log as stated in the "Before you post requesting help", that will let us see what your current setup looks like and if you have a texture memory issue (which could be causing the crashing too).Īlso, just so you know, reinstalling will not make you lose your progress. Have you updated your graphics rules and video cards.sgr files? Have you applied the 4 GB patch? The latter will likely stop the crashing, but you should edit those files as well (manually, don't use the graphics rules maker) for better performance.
